It’s time once again to take to the beaches in the fight against plastic pollution for the Great Global Nurdle Hunt!.
The infiltration of plastics into our daily lives goes deep, making it hard to avoid this polluting material which will remain in our ecosystems for centuries to come.
Having been fascinated with the ocean and its inhabitants since childhood, diving was inevitably going to be a big part of my life.
Today is World Oceans Day and the theme for this year’s observation is ‘Preventing plastic pollution and encouraging solutions for a healthy ocean’ – a call to action that couldn’t be more pressing
Some coastal communities view whales as the guardians of the ocean, a special value attached to the marine giants which is not misplaced. Whales provide incredible services for the ocean and coastal communities, playing a role deemed so important that some scientists have coined them “ecosystem engineers”
